The single most important thing in my journey is the hardest part for me. It is a basic necessity that most our us deprive our self from. WATER! This element is critical to any plan for eating and living a healthy lifestyle.
My struggle with water is ongoing to the point where I had to get creative. Now this might rub some the wrong way, but for now it's working for me. Shot glasses! That's right I started doing water shots. For years we have collected shot glasses and even had friends bring them back as souvenirs from all over the world. Then they sit on a shelf collecting dust waiting to get throw away by our kids one day. So I started doing water shots from around the world. I'm not into drinking alcohol. Bring Me Some Water Please
Since every one is different I did some research to make sure I had the correct information. It was not practical that everyone would need the same amount of water daily.
I pulled this information from the internet;
“It depends on your size and weight, and also on your activity level and where you live,” Nessler says. “In general, you should try to drink between half an ounce and an ounce of water for each pound you weigh, every day.” Source WedMD
So how many shots do you need per day?
There's no shortage of water. Dehydration is a major problem and most of the time when I'm tired and even sleepy, what my body really needs is water. The is no substitute for water. During my visits overseas one of the directions was " do not drink the water". While at the same time I had to drink as much as possible in order to avoid becoming dehydrated.
"The Earth is a watery place. But just how much water exists on, in, and above our planet? About 71 percent of the Earth's surface is water-covered, and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth's water. " Source USGS
